So in this video, I will break down what to say when someone asks you to sell a pen, so you will be able to create a jaw dropping scene and crush any sales interview. when they ask this question, they will be able to see how good you are selling any product by your response. Your resume will come in second if you can demonstrate the art of selling, because that’s what it is. An art. There are four sales skills the person asking is looking for when you get asked to sell a pen. The following is the right framework so that you can respond perfectly every time. First, they want to see how well you gather information. Second, how well you respond to information. Third, how you deliver information. And last, how you ask for something, or how you close. You find out how they last used the pen, emphasize the importance of the activity they last used the pen for, sell something bigger than the pen, you know, get emotions involved. Move on and realize you’re better off spending your time selling the pen to someone else. Business Insider reports that Beer sales are sliding, especially among big brands like , Coors Light, Budweiser, Heineken and Miller Light. Why? Analysts say that millennials are simply not interested in beer. Sales numbers show that both millennials and Gen-Zers favor wine and spirits. According to the Wall Street Journal, "drinkers picked beer less than half of the time when deciding on an alcoholic beverage in 2017." On Wednesday, Molson Coors admitted that sales dipped for the fourth straight quarter. Business Insider adds, "The volume of Heineken sold in the US declined in the high-single digits in the first half of the year, the company announced on Monday." In this talk, Sébastien explores how the craft beer movement is disrupting the Old World of beer and how this could be just the beginning of a new era where we'll see a generation of hypertasters cracking the code of flavour with a whole new 360 tasting experience. Sébastien Morvan is a Brussels-based entrepreneur in the craft beer market. Sébastien is the co-founder of the Brussels Beer Project, an innovative craft brewery based on co-creation featured by media such as Forbes, WSJ and The Guardian for its ambition to shake up the conservative European brewing scene. Before this, he gained diverse experience as an Investment Banker in London, a microfinance officer in Buenos Aires and a consultant on entrepreneurship in Brazil. During his studies, he worked at Ashoka headquarters in DC and social entrepreneurship had an influential role in his way to address the craft beer market & economics in general. 2. Request Approval to Modify the Special Event Permit for Sails Music Series. - Music Series represents Hickory's Life. Well Crafted. Brand, and providing local beer crafted in Hickory fits the brand print and is similar to local farmers as vendors at the Downtown Hickory Farmers Market. An opportunity has risen that would allow OHB to serve its crafted beer during the Sails Music Series under the Sails on the Square in Downtown Hickory. A designated area will be provided for the boundary of the area where beer is allowed while still ensuring that the event is open to all ages. OHB staff is responsible for carding and serving the beverages to those over 21 years of age. Hickory Police Department and city staff will be present and monitor the event which is 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday nights in May and June. In looking at the second Departmental Report this evening, members of the CEG are curious as to whether any "Request for Bid" process took place involving beer sales for the your "Sails on the Square Music Series."And thank goodness that we are able to speak about this before you give it your "Departmental Report" rubber stamp, because once again there is a smell in the air of favoritism and we aren't speaking per se against the Olde Hickory Brewery. How many other vendors would have liked to have had the opportunity to sell beer on Union Square? And isn't it funny that the Hickory Alive series has been cut back in which the Jaycees sell beer, in favor of creating an opportunity and lining the pockets of another chosen favorite Union Square business owner. Yes, this stinks to high heavens. We all know there was no open bid process, we wonder what other vendors will think when they find this out. Once again the city redefines competition. How do we know that the City is getting the best deal? We don't fully understand how the money works on this deal. Is Olde Hickory Brewery's fees helping to offset the cost of the music groups? How much is it costing to hire the musical talent? A member of our group attended last week's event, the wine shop was busy with patrons and there were even people who brought a picnic. The attendance was sparse due to the inclement weather and the music group had some difficulties due to that. One final thought, this type of programming is good, it just needs to be paid for by the people who benefit -- the businesses on Union Square. The same type of programming could have been taking place long ago without this expensive use of Taxpayer monies. Public funding for private benefit seems to be the theme of the city's public-private quote-unquote "partnerships". As the weather improves, we are sure that these musical events will be successful.

The company was even ordered to stop calling one of their beers by a certain name because it was too closely named to a national brand. The DuBois Brewery was brewing DuBois Budweiser, but Anheuser-Busch didn't like that name because it was too close to its trademark brew. Anheuser-Busch sued DuBois Brewery, and after several years of court battles, a judge ruled in 1970 that DuBois Brewery could no longer us their name. The brewery shut down two years late and the building was demolished. The brewery was once a booming business and was the second establishment in Pennsylvania to get an alcohol license when prohibition ended. The brewery survived during prohibition by making "Near-Beer," root beer and by selling ice.

ERLANGER, Ky. (Brad Underwood) -- Until now, Kentucky has allowed out-of-state breweries to distribute their own beer. But, a bill passed Thursday, March 5, would change that and put the future of Rheingeist's sales in jeopardy. Back in December 2014 Rhinegeist leased a building that was essentially a giant refrigerator. The plan was to distribute Rhinegeist beer and other craft beers here in northern Kentucky. Now after sinking hundreds of thousands of dollars into the property, it appears the building will soon be empty. As Rhinegeist rolls out another new beer, lawmakers across the river have put a cork in the growth of one the fastest growing craft beer brands. Rhinegeist started canning beer in early 2014. Their beer is a hit, extremely popular and distributing in Kentucky was supposed to be the next step.Bob Bonder, co-founder of Rhinegeist, said, "Usually people celebrate investment in their state, entrepreneurship, startups. Instead the Kentucky government took away my business three months after they gave us the right to open it. "The bill has passed both chambers and Governor Steve Beshear has publicly said he's pleased to sign the bill to protect the integrity of alcohol sales in Kentucky. The bill's primary target was distributing giant Anheuser Busch but lost in that fight was Rhinegiest, the local craft beer start up. "It's one of the more sad and frustrating days i've had in the course of running my own business. "For bonder and rhinegeist, the bill's passage is a massive blow that happened so quickly bonder is still struggling to make sense of it all. Rhinegeist is still storing and distributing beer from the facility. Bonder said he hoped they would be able to do that until their state license expires at the end of year. After that, who knows if people will be able to buy Rhinegeist in Kentucky. According to a group that tracks market sales information, Rhinegeist is the top selling new craft brand in the country.
