Finding Cheap Flights isn't very difficult. With the help of Google Flights and scottscheapflights.com, it's pretty easy to find low price flights to most places in the world. My main goal in making this video is to show you the flying around the world is a lot cheaper than most people think. My Travel Videos :) - https://youtu.be/P6HcKNtQKVk Some things I forgot to mention: - If you aren't finding cheap flights, wait for a sale. Airlines have sales that aren't advertised, but they happen often. Scott's cheap flights is great for this because you'll be notified when they happen :) - Always make sure you know extra fees (baggage, random stuff) for each airline. Especially budget airlines such as Easyjet, Ryanair, etc. If you don't know them, your cheap flight won't be cheap :/ - If you buy a flight that has multiple legs (Ex. Denver to London with a stop in Iceland) make sure you make all the flights (Don't just fly to Iceland and take the return flight home) because the airline will assume you missed the flights and they will sale your seats. I learned this the hard way. P.S. Always give yourself a decent amount of time to plan and research the trip so you don't make mistakes which can cost you lots of $$ (correct airports with connecting legs, time changes, etc.) Song: Chasing Palm Trees by Ehrling https://soundcloud.com/ehrling/ehrling-dance-with-me

Here are some very important tips on how to travel around London and buy an oyster card. Especially if it is your first time visiting London, if you aren't careful you can end up paying a lot more for your travel so it's important you pay the right fare. You can use your oyster card or contactless payment card for lots of different types of transport on London TFL services. This includes buses, trains, tubes, Thames Clipper boats, trams and even the Emirates Airline cable cars. My favourite thing to do is to travel on the old Number 15 routemaster buses. A real icon of London. I'll show you all the tips and tricks on how to behave like a true Londoner and not to be barged out of the way by the locals when travelling on transport in London. There are other ways to pay for London Transport including Apple Pay on your iphone or with a contactless credit or debit card. But I think it's easiest to get an oyster card when you first arrive. Try to avoid buying paper tickets because they cost more!! And the buses don't accept money so you must have an oyster or credit card or apple pay. When talking about how to fly cheap there are a few factors that you have to consider. One of them is where you are traveling from and where you are traveling to and how flexible are you with your departure airport and destination airport. The second thing is how flexibel are you with your date of travel. The more flexibility the easier it is to find cheap airline tickets. Another key factor to finding cheap flight is actually to find the best booking sites. But really the secret to cheap flights is combining all of those factors into one magic booking strategy. If you want to fly cheap you’ve got to be smart. So as I mentioned flexibility when booking airline tickets is one of the key factors in actually succeeding in finding the cheapest flights. That in term means finding the best booking sites means finding the most flexibel booking sites. There are some good options out there like flights.google.com or kayak.com. They let you enter 3-5 departure airports and 3-5 destination airports and you can be fairly flexible on the travel date. but for what we are looking for that is not good enough. Also many of the booking sites don’t show you all of the airfares because some of the fares are so discounted that the booking site wouldn’t get any commissions anymore. So found another secret to cheap airfare. Finding those fares that not even the booking sites have. Well I stumbled upon a website that combines all those factors into one beautiful beautiful packet . An airplane ticket for $5 seems to be nonsense but not when you know how to search! Have you ever heard, for example, about the 24-hour rule? Check the same flight the next morning after you’ve booked it because search engines often set filters to default and may suggest cheaper options. If the price is lower, you can cancel your booking and re-purchase your ticket! One more cool thing is well known to experienced travelers: they hide their destination in the middle of the route. If you need to get to Istanbul, don’t rush to book a direct flight. Sometimes, a flight to Rome with a transfer at Istanbul may be much cheaper. Interested? 10 things you must know before you travel to London in the United Kingdom. First, the City of “London” is technically a one square mile area, with only 7,400 residents. But the larger london has 8.6 Million Residents in 32 boroughs. Big Ben refers to the bell, not the tower. The tower is called “Elizabeth Tower” The country is called the “United Kingdom” -- England is a part of the UK. Great Britain is an old name when it used to be called “United Kingdom of Great Britain” 2 - When to go: Low season is between January and February with average daily highs around 8C or 46F Shoulder season is between mid-September and November and then again in March and April. Shoulder Season. Mild weather, light jacket. Cheapest hotels are Jan-March, but often with wind and constant rain Summer prepare for thunderstorms and crowds. But probably the best time to go. Average highs are 24C/75F. The “city” can make it hot and humid in the summer. 3 - Money: Great British Pound, aka pound sterling, aka quid 1 GBP is $1.30 or 1.12 EUR A pound is composed of 100 pence, referred to as “pee” A five pound note is a fiver(smallest note), and 10 is a tenner Credit cards are generally accepted, but may require “chip and pin” ATMS are plentiful VAT is about 20% -- and yes, they have a tax back scheme 4 - Getting in: 6 airports serve London Main airports, Heathrow and Gatwick Ryan Air and Easy Jet fly in to Stansted (it’s about an hour out) Due to London's huge global city status it is the most served destination in the world when it comes to flights. But some connections may be between airports. DONT DO IT! Heathrow is home to British Airways that operates 40 percent of flights. From Heathrow the fastest way in to the city is the Heathrow Express -- it takes 15 minutes in to the city at Paddington Station, and leaves every 15 minutes. Station at Terminal 4, and another for Terms 1,2,3. It costs 22 GBP. Star Alliance Gold gets free Business/First upgrade. Also can take the Tube, on the Piccadilly line. It’ll take an hour. Gatwick is London's 2nd airport and is the world's busiest single runway airport From Gatwick the fastest way is the Gatwick Express, it takes 30 minutes in to London Victoria Station. Also every 15 minutes. No tube at Gatwick. A taxi will cost you about 55-65 GBP from Heathrow Rail fares to London vary enormously from very cheap to prohibitively expensive - the golden rules are to book Advance tickets for a particular train time, don't travel into the city on Friday afternoons and Sundays, and avoid buying tickets on the day of travel. London has one international high speed rail route (operated by Eurostar ) rom Paris (2h 15min) and Brussels (1h 50 min) diving under the sea for 35 km (22 mi) via the Channel Tunnel to come out in England. It terminates at St. Pancras International Station. Whatever you do.. don't drive! 5 - Getting Around: It’s all about the tube, officially known as the London Underground Buy an oyster card Daily cap, or buy a 7-day card You use the Oyster Card for busses too Take the double decker busses, tap when you get on. Don’t tap off. Peak times are Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 09:30 and between 16:00 and 19:00. off-peak rate is much cheaper. Download the Citymapper app to help with navigation London Black Taxis are world famous Uber is also an option, though black cabs can be faster, they use bus lanes Santandar Bicycles -- first 30 minutes are 2 GBP, every next 30 mins is free if you return it. The best way to get around is your feet though! Central london is quite compact Make sure to pay attention to the “look left/look right” signs before crossing the street 6 - Food: 7 - Tipping: Restaurants: Standard is 12.5%, 15% for good service. No tip of there is a service charge Cabs -- round up.. Or 10%. No tip in bars and pubs for drinks, unless you order food. Doormen, bellhops a pound. 8 - Language: It’s english, but it’s British English. 9 - Shopping: 10 - Museums: CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/yellowwsub You might enjoy watching some of these other videos from London: Best Cheap Eats London: https://youtu.be/RlNIp45Irjc 10 Best Free Things to Do in London: https://youtu.be/O5o8vgBdZPk Camden Market in London: https://youtu.be/efHdgV1slqU Weird things to do in London: https://youtu.be/R-EK4oF4zQI Yellow Productions on Social Media: FACEBOOK: https://facebook.com/YellowProductionsTravel INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/yellowwproductions/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/chrisraney GOOGLE+: https://google.com/+yellowwproductions Check out my blog: http://yelloww.net Music: (killertracks.com) UPM_KT300_5_Hey_Get_Up_Main_Track_Synowiec_846501 UPM_NYB119_11_The_Tiptoe_Strut_Main_Track_Kron_915645

A guide to riding public transportation in London, the London Underground, also known as the London Tube. I tell you everything you need to know to ride the underground trains in London including how to buy tickets, how to plan your trip, and how to find your train. Overview: The London Underground, also called “The Tube” -- but never “subway” is generally the quickest mode of transport for journeys to another neighborhood or across town. Might not be the best for going a short distance though. Locals laugh at tourists who take the tube one stop. 270 stations on 12 lines which are named and colored. Red is the central line. Trains run 5:30am until Midnight Mon-Thurs, 1am on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday is 6:30am to 11:30pm Rush hour is 8-10am and 5-7pm Planning your journey: Every station has a map, but it’s not to scale, or even geographically correct. Handy to carry a map with you. Google Maps is OK. Doesn’t really account for transfer time. But the citymapper app is way better. Includes walking time, and what part of the train to ride. Buying a ticket: Yes you can get a paper ticket, but its 5GBP for one ride. Hardly worth it. First things first -- Get an Oyster Card -- 5 GBP deposit, then load it up. Stored value, or a travel pass. (travel pass can be paper) You can buy it from any tube station, vending machines take bills, coins, and credit card. But it might not take YOUR credit card. Use machines to top up card too. Getting in: Every station has ticket gates, find the ones that have an arrow that indicates it is for entry. EIther insert your paper ticket in the slot, or tap your oyster card. Will show the oyster balance. You can also use a contactless credit card, but maybe not YOUR card. Finding the platform: Since you planned your route, you’ll know what line you’re taking. Look for the overhead sign, and find the direction (Northbound, Eastbound, etc) The platforms are well marked and signs indicate the way to the platforms and the destinations served by the various platforms. Not all trains on a "line" travel to all stops. Be sure that the train you take travels to your destination by reading the overhead signs or the illuminated sign on the front of the train. Also make sure you take train on the correct branch. Riding the train: Mind the gap getting on. Sit or stand. Mind the priority seats, and mind your head. The doors are curved. Maps inside the train Stops are well announced and you can see outside the window the stops too. I usually find it best just to count. Exiting: Once you get off the train, you’ll either be connecting or exiting. If you’re connecting look for the overhead signs for your transfer line If you’re exiting -- look for the “Way Out” signs. Make sure you are going out the correct exit And then just “tap” your way out. Hassan left Syria after he was arrested and tortured for protesting against the government - his aim was to reach the UK. After his dinghy sank in the Mediterranean, people smugglers took him to Paris where he bought a fake passport and a plane ticket to London. This is what happened. Borough Market is one of the most famous and renowned fresh markets in London. Get all information here: http://migrationology.com/2014/05/borough-market-london/ There are many famous things to do in London, but if you're a food lover like I am, one of the best choices you can make it to take a trip to the historical Borough Market. The market is one of the most well-known in all of London. The history goes way back, and it was formerly a place where people came and gathered to trade and sell their fresh produce. For many years it was very informal and without structure. But the official Borough Market was established in 1885, the place that we can visit today. We were only in London for a couple of days, attending the Chowzter.com food awards (http://chowzter.com/), and one thing I knew we needed to do, was visit Borough Market with an empty stomach. It was Friday morning at about 10 AM when we decided to go - and I think it was just about a perfect time - because many of the vendors were just opening up, and the market wasn't as packed as it could be. The best things to do as soon as you arrive to Borough Market is to take a leisurely stroll around and see what is available for you to eat - there are too many things to eat in one visit, so it's important that you choose wisely, and decide what you want to eat. Some of the most famous things include the salt beef sandwich, the grilled cheese sandwich, the duck confit sandwich, chorizo, and many other delicious things. But along with cooked food, there's also a range of cured meats, and wonderful cheeses. I also really enjoyed the fresh produce, which included a nice variety of mushrooms and beautiful heirloom tomatoes. But anyway let's get back to the food, and I'm talking about the food ready to be eaten. As soon as I arrived I saw a stack of cheese and olive bread-sticks which were piled high like a pyramid. That was my first treat. The long bread-stick was crusty and embedded with salty cheese and delicious olives. While walking around, in the back part Borough Market, we decided to try a Portuguese egg tart. It was good but I thought it could've been better if it was a little warmer. Next up we tried a sausage on a stick from a place called Boston Sausage. I added a bunch of English mustard to it, and I think that's what made it so good. If you want to drink coffee, when you visit London's Borough Market you cannot miss the famous Monmouth coffee shop. It can be quite busy and hard to find a seat, so we decided just to get takeaway coffee, as I really needed something to wake me up and keep me energized to eat more. My little shot of macchiato was fantastic. Back to the food, we went to a place called Brindisa and ordered up one of their famous chorizo sandwiches. The chorizo was very tasty, and had a nice spicy flavor to it, but I thought the bread was way too big for the amount of meat. If I ordered it again, I would for sure get the double chorizo. Finally for my last sandwich at Borough Market, I went with the famous duck confit sandwich. You'll see the incredible pan of duck confit when you visit the market, and if you're like me, it should entice you to eat it immediately. When you order, the vendor fills up a bunch of duck into a ciabatta roll. The duck was incredibly tender, juicy, and oily, and it was amazingly tasty. That just about wrapped up everything I ate at Borough Market in London. There were still many more things I wanted to try, but like I said, it would be a near impossible feat to eat everything in one visit to the market. If you want to eat and you're in London, this is one of the best places to visit. Visit Borough Market information: Open for lunch on Monday -- Tuesday from 11 am -- 5 pm Full market is open on Wednesday -- Thursday from 11 am -- 5 pm, Friday from 10 am -- 6 pm, and Saturday from 8 am -- 5 pm (closed on Sunday) Prices: It would not be hard to spend 20 GBP per person eating here Website: http://boroughmarket.org.uk/ How to get to there: I think the easiest way is to take the London underground tube to London Bridge Station and then just follow the exit signs that will lead directly to Borough Market. Like many world capitals, this is a city that never sleeps, and on my most recent visit, I got to experience that firsthand. My challenge was to discover 24 unique experiences in London – one for every hour of the day! From secret speakeasies to living room concerts, and whimsical afternoon teas to bustling food markets, I scoured the city to bring you the following 24 hours in London! Let’s begin. I skipped breakfast to visit a coffee shop in Hampstead! With a bit of caffeine in my system, I continued on to my 9:00 am activity which was walking up Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath with a great lookout point of the city skyline. Set in a former power station it is home to the national collection of British art from 1900 to the present. I got off at Westminster Station and walked over to Horse Guards Parade for my next activity. If you’re visiting with kids there’s a section inside the museum where you can try on different uniforms. Cruising down the Thames is a classic way to experience London while hearing interesting London facts that you won’t find in any guidebook. With hundreds of food stalls selling everything. What can you do in the middle of the afternoon in London? I made my way over to the West End for a show. Having afternoon tea at the Sanderson was like stumbling down a rabbit hole and being transported to the world of Alice in Wonderland. Everything from the menu to the teapots to the ‘drink me’ potions was just right! The RISEGallery has been doing a lot of work to help connect local artists with property owners, and this has resulted in some beautiful murals. I attended my first Late where museums and art galleries stay open after hours, offering extended admission or putting on special events. I got to experience Sofar Sounds, which is a pop-up concert that takes place in people’s living rooms. It’s not until 24 hours before the event that you are emailed the address and the names of the artists performing that night. Then at 11pm, for a bit of live music, it was onwards to The Blues Kitchen in Brixton, where they do barbecue, bourbon, and blues. Flight Club is a bar that puts a twist on the traditional English pub by adding modern darts into the equation. With the clock striking one, my next stop transported me to London in the 1940s. This bar was set in an attic and it had a bit of speakeasy vibe. There mixing all sorts of fun cocktails. We checked out London’s nightlife scene at 3 am with dance moves at KOKO. Last but not least, the final activity of my 24 hours in London was breakfast at Duck & Waffle. Located on a 40th floor, this restaurant has amazing views of Central London and they are open 24 hours a day. And that’s a wrap for my 24 hours in London! I hope you enjoyed following along and that also got a few ideas for your own trip. As you can see, this city has plenty to offer, no matter the time of day. Wishing you happy travels and see you next time! Music by DJ Quads: https://soundcloud.com/aka-dj-quads
