22 Creepy Facts That Are Scary And Mysterious
Here are 22 creepy facts that we find scary and mysterious. #Mysterious #Facts #Creepy Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Summary: 8. DIgestive creepiness: This next fact is slightly disturbing and even kind of gross. Believe it or not, there are types of bacteria inside of your stomach that you use to digest food, but after you die those same bacteria will digest you. Well, there goes my sleep for the week. 7. Death from laughter: Did you know that it’s possible to die from laughing too much? There are at least 10 recorded deaths by laughing. It usually happens when the laughter causes some form of cardiac arrest or asphyxiation, according to Wikipedia. So I guess they lied when they told us as kids that laughter is the best medicine. Mind blown. 6. Cotard delusion: A rare mental illness called cotard delusion exists, and the person who is affected by the illness either believes that they are dead or that they have lost all their blood and/or internal organs. The person affected by the illness typically denies their very existence and suffers from extreme psychiatric depression. 5. Eyelash mites: Did you know that there are tiny little bugs that live on your face and eat off your dead skin? The bugs are called Demodex, and they’re tiny mites that live in or close to our hair follicles. There are two species of Demodex living on humans, and both species are typically referred to as “eyelash mites”. 4. Blood squirting lizards: Blood squirting lizards exist! They are called horned lizards, and they actually have a blood-squirting mechanism which shoots blood from their eyes. Blood squirting is a horned lizard's best-known defence when being attacked. A pouch below the lizard’s eyes swells up with blood, and with a surge of pressure, the lizard squirts up a stream of blood that can travel up to six feet. 3. The Suicide Forest: The Aokigahara forest, also known as the Suicide Forest, is located in Japan and is a popular tourist destination. The forest is known as one of the world’s leading sites for suicides. There are even signs located in different areas of trails in the forest encouraging suicide visitors to rethink their decision and contact suicide prevention hotlines. 2. Bacteria in our mouths: Did you know that there could be more bacteria in your mouth than there are people on earth? “In one month, the number of bacteria can easily exceed the number of people who live on Earth,” says Sigmund Socransky, associate clinical professor of periodontology at Harvard. That’s something I could have gone without knowing. 1. Dead skin cells: Human beings lose approximately 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells every single minute. If you do the math, that can add up to 50 million skin cells every single day. According to scientists, by the time a human being reaches adulthood, they will have lost roughly 37 trillion cells. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Bestie : https://goo.gl/tUqro6 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bestieinc/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

17 Interesting & True Facts About The Titanic
17 interesting & true facts about the Titanic. One of the world's greatest tragedies, one of the biggest ship crashes and it is a time in history that will resonate for us forever. Today, we'll be exploring true facts, interesting facts, amazing facts but mostly facts about the Titanic. #TitanicSinking #FactsAboutTheTitanic #TitanicHistory Timestamps: 17. The Pig Music Box - 10:38 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Summary: 10. A Nearby Ship Could Have Helped. Here's a moment in Titanic history and an amazing fact that at least one person regrets: 20 miles away, the SS Californian stopped to avoid ice. 9. False Reports. Here is a fact about the sinking ship that is one of the biggest blunders in titanic history: The first paper to report the sinking of the Titanic on April 16th, was the UK’s Daily Mail. 8. Ships Still Get ‘Iced’ Today. After the Titanic, icebergs continued to be a problem up until today. Just last year, an iceberg ripped a hole in the hull of a Russian fishing boat that was cruising in the Antarctic. The crew consisted of 32 people. 7. Lucky Dogs. Here's an amazing fact about the sinking ship: Beside the 706 crew members and Passengers who survived the tragedy, there were two survivors who you probably wouldn't expect: two dogs 6. Lifestyles of the Rich. An interesting fact and piece titanic history is the amount of money spent to go on this gigantic ship's maiden voyage. The people at JSONLINE tell us that the cost of the most expensive First Class Parlor ticket to New York was $4,350 — about $69,600 today. 5. Booze and Cigars. One of the most interesting facts about the Titanic is the amount of beer, wine and cigars on the ship. Before it became a sinking ship, the people at JSONLINE once again report that the Titanic was stocked with 20,000 bottles of beer and stout, 1,500 bottles of wine and 8,000 cigars for use by first-class passengers. 4. The Iceberg. Let's take a moment to share some amazing facts about the thing the ship crashed into itself, the iceberg. Apparently, before it was sinking ships, the iceberg was spawned from a glacier in Greenland. It was about 100 feet tall and according to the Titanic experts at JSONLINE, the iceberg was warmer than the water Titanic passengers fell into that night. The ocean waters were 28 degrees, and the iceberg was 32 degrees. 3. The Ship Crash. Let's examine some true facts about the ship's crash itself. According to TITANICFACTS.NET, they were only 4 days into their maiden voyage when the crash occurred. They had received 6 ice warnings beforehand, but unfortunately, the Titanic's lookout was not equipped with binoculars to see icebergs in time to avoid the collision. When the iceberg was first viewed, it only took 30 seconds for the big ship to crash. First Officer William Murdoch attempted to turn the ship to swing it past the iceberg but to no avail. The most tragic part of it all was if the Titanic had hit the iceberg head-on, they probably would have survived due to the strength of the bulkheads. 2. Potential Survivors. Here are some interesting facts about the Titanic's surviviors after the ship crashed. According to TITANICFACTS.NET, it took the crew 60 of the 160 minutes to actually get the lifeboats going. Although only 31.6% of the crew and passengers survived, apparently as much as 53.4% could've survived, given the amount of space left in the lifeboats. Also, as if adding insult to injury, JSONLINE says that the Titanic originally was designed to carry 64 lifeboats. To save from cluttering decks, the ship ended up carrying 20 on her maiden voyage. 1. The Pig Music Box. Apparently, a woman on the Titanic named Edith Rosenbaum Russell grabbed a music box shaped like a pig before getting into a lifeboat. She used the music box to calm the children as the rowed away from the ship sinking. The pig has become a big part of the ship's story and was even the subject of a children's book called: "Pig on the Titanic: A True Story". ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Bestie : https://goo.gl/tUqro6 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bestieinc/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

13 Unusual Facts About Females That Are Totally True
What do we know about women and girls? All of those books on how to understand women have nothing about the biological and social facts of the fairer side of humanity. Bright Side looked far and wide to find some pretty awesome and controversial facts about ladies — and here is what we got. TIMESTAMPS Women see more colors. 0:50 The female body has a lower resistance to alcohol. 1:20 Maturity is attractive. 2:04 The average woman will eat 4 lb of lipstick in her lifetime. 2:34 They hate taking risks. 3:07 They might make their men fat. 3:34 Style over comfort. 4:00 A heightened sense of smell. 4:23 The brain cells are packed more densely in the female brain. 4:41 They are the unsung heroes of inventions. 5:41 Heels were for men. 7:36 Women can read faces. 7:57 Long live women! 8:45 SUMMARY - Women seeing on average 20% more differences in colors and shapes. - Alcohol is even more dangerous for women as they are more prone to liver disease like hepatitis (an inflammation of the liver) and are more likely to die from liver cirrhosis (a chronic disease). - Various studies have shown that a woman is more attractive the more fertile she looks, so women who have given birth, grown into a very feminine body, or do not use birth control are way more attractive to men. - It comes down to women licking off or eating with food about 4 lb of lipstick in their life. That translates to 533.76 lipsticks. - The anterior cingulate cortex, the part of the brain that weighs options when making a decision, is larger in women than in men. - A lot of men in long-term relationships are getting bigger, and that might be the doing of their women. They go into a “taking care” mode that results in feeding their partner excessively (with the intention of having a strong “warrior” by their side). - Society and media have been pressing women for centuries to hold themselves to a certain standard. - The heightened sense of smell helped our ancestors to survive and, as women were mainly gatherers, helped them to pick the right foods for the family. - The female brain is 9% smaller than its male counterpart. - Women over the years have patented: disposable diapers, paper bags, nonreflective glass, the foot-pedal trash can, the dishwasher, and many other innovations. - Heels were brought into women’s fashion to mimic the men who wore heels as a sign of their masculinity and status. - Women are better at reading faces, gestures, and voice tones, which makes them superior conversationalists and social leaders. - Sometimes the life duration differences between men and women can be up to a decade, but on average it is at least 2–3 years all over the world. Even with all that we know about fair ladies, there’s still a ton of mysteries to be unraveled. Which ones are your favorite?
