Secrets Playa Mujeres is a well-kept resort with a clean beach, quick service, impeccably clean, well-equipped and stylish rooms as well as a large choice of restaurants and other facilities. You don´t need to go anywhere for anything, but you´ll find everything there. The thing is: You can´t really go anywhere else, as it´s quite secluded. It´s the perfect choice for those aiming at relaxation. It´s less suitable, however, for those who´d like to make some cultural discoveries and go for some excursions. It will take you 45 minutes even to reach Cancún center. This is not a complaint. As a (potential) guest you should just be aware of where you´re going.
The cost-benefit ratio isn´t very good, even though it´s all inclusive. You´d have to eat and drink more than you can swallow in order to make up for the price. And given the price one has paid, I´d find it appropriate, if - for example - at the bar a fruit juice would consist of real fruit, not just concentrate...
