Andropause: Treating Male Hormone Imbalance Naturally (Male Menopause)

03:16
The symptoms of female menopause are well known, well-documented, and properly treated by doctors. Although it’s still widely studied in order to improve the quality of life of women, it’s undeniable that women's menopause already has several treatments to improve the lives of women in general. However, it’s not only women who suffer from hormonal changes when they reach a certain age. Men also have trouble maintaining the delicate hormonal balance, when they begin to approach middle age. This phenomenon is called andropause, or "male menopause." The symptoms of male menopause are similar, although they are less well publicized and there are few treatments available. We now know that men begin to feel the first signs of male menopause from the age of 40, when the body begins to have a testosterone deficiency. When women enter menopause, somewhere between the ages of 45 and 55, they are already experiencing symptoms.. However, only a minority of men recognize the symptoms of male menopause. That is why it is so important for men to be able to read the signs of their own body and to know how to deal with one of the most delicate phases of their lives. Men over 40 should seek medical help if they have some of these symptoms of male menopause that are listed below: 1. Decreased sexual appetite; 2. Very dry hair and skin; 3. Significant increase of sweat; 4. Trouble concentrating; 5. Muscle weakness and insomnia; 6. Anxiety and/or irritability; 7. Changes in bone composition. The aging process is normal and doesn’t have to be sad or dramatic. All you need to do is practice good habits to successfully tackle andropause. Here are some examples of what you can do: - Make it a habit to get annual check-ups to avoid any diseases. - Maintain a healthy diet to avoid weight gain; - Increase your intake of fish rich in healthy fats, such as sardines and salmon, which are great sources of fatty acids and calcium; - Get used to eating fruits and vegetables daily; - Drink 2 liters of water every day to improve metabolism and hydration of the body; - If you smoke or consume alcohol, stop; - Incorporate exercise into your daily routine for at least 20 minutes to prevent the symptoms of andropause from worsening. - Consider natural therapies like acupuncture and homeopathy to help restore your testosterone levels. These therapies also relieve several other physical and emotional symptoms of male menopause. Changing habits and our way of life is never easy, but the results make up for the possible issues that may arise. Focus on improving your health, and you’ll realize that your quality of life will also improve. What Is Male Menopause

05:14
What Is Male Menopause. What Is Male Menopause?. Male menopause" is the more typical term for andropause. It depicts age-related changes in male hormone levels. A similar gathering of side effects is otherwise called testosterone insufficiency, androgen inadequacy, and late-beginning hypogonadism. Male menopause includes a drop in testosterone generation in men who are age 50 or more seasoned. It's regularly associated with hypogonadism. The two conditions include brought down testosterone levels and comparative side effects. In case you're a man, testosterone is a hormone created in your testicles. It accomplishes more than fuel your sex drive. It likewise fills changes amid adolescence, energizes your psychological and physical vitality, keeps up your bulk, directs your battle or-flight reaction, and manages other key transformative highlights. Male menopause varies from female menopause in a few ways. For a certain something, not all men encounter it. For another, it doesn't include a total shutdown of your conceptive organs. Notwithstanding, sexual entanglements may emerge because of your brought down hormone levels. Side effects of Male Menopause. Male menopause can cause physical, sexual, and mental issues. They regularly decline as you get more seasoned. They can include: *low vitality. *depression or trouble. *decreased inspiration. *lowered fearlessness. *difficulty concentrating. *insomnia or trouble dozing. *increased muscle versus fat. *reduced bulk and sentiments of physical shortcoming. *gynecomastia, or advancement of bosoms. *decreased bone thickness. *erectile brokenness. *reduced moxie. *infertility. You may likewise encounter swollen or delicate bosoms, diminished gonad measure, loss of body hair, or hot flashes. Low levels of testosterone related with male menopause have likewise been connected to osteoporosis. This is where your bones wind up powerless and weak. These are uncommon side effects. They regularly influence men at an indistinguishable age from ladies entering menopause. Changes in Testosterone Over the Years. Before you hit pubescence, your testosterone levels are low. At that point they increment as you sexually develop. Testosterone is the hormone that energizes run of the mill changes engaged with male pubescence, for example, *growth of your bulk. *growth of your body hair. *lowering of your voice. *changes in your sexual working. As you age, your testosterone levels will commonly start to drop. As per the Mayo Clinic, testosterone levels tend to decrease a normal of 1 percent for each year after men turn 30. Some wellbeing conditions can cause prior or more extreme decreases in your testosterone levels. Diagnosing and Treating Male Menopause. Your specialist can take an example of your blood to test your testosterone levels. Unless male menopause is causing you extreme hardship or upsetting your life, you'll presumably deal with your side effects without treatment. The greatest obstacle in treating male menopause might converse with your specialist about your indications. Numerous men are excessively threatened or modest, making it impossible to talk about sexual points with their specialists. The most well-known kind of treatment for manifestations of male menopause is settling on more advantageous way of life decisions. For instance, your specialist may encourage you to: *eat a sound eating regimen. *get customary exercise. *get enough rest. *reduce your pressure. These way of life propensities can profit all men. Subsequent to receiving these propensities, men who are encountering indications of male menopause may see a sensational change in their general wellbeing. In case you're encountering sorrow, your specialist may recommend antidepressants, treatment, and way of life changes. Hormone substitution treatment is another treatment alternative. Be that as it may, it's extremely dubious. Like execution improving steroids, engineered testosterone can have harming reactions. For instance, on the off chance that you have prostate growth, it might make your disease cells develop. On the off chance that your specialist proposes hormone substitution treatment, measure the greater part of the positives and negatives before settling on your choice. Treating Male Menopause

It crept up on Raymond Wemer; as the years passed his testosterone level dropped and took his health along with it. "I weighed almost 250 pounds. I could sleep all day and I could still wake up tired. I had no energy, full blown diabetes, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was a mess." Most men experience a gradual loss of testosterone, about 1% or 2% a year after age 30. It's not the drastic hormonal change women undergo during menopause. "Unlike women that have that abrupt change in the numbers in the level of hormones, in men it's such a slow level, so we don't feel that," says Dr. Meir Daller, a urologist on the medical staff of Lee Memorial Health System. But doctors are recognizing that low testosterone may be the root of many problems. Studies link it to declining muscle mass and bone density, insulin resistance, reduced energy and sex drive. Even chronic illnesses like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease are associated with low T. "Testosterone works on different parts of your body, it works on your bones, it works on your blood vessels, it works on your muscle, it increases the growth of your muscle and it works on your energy and your mood," says Dr. Daller. By the time Raymond was diagnosed, his T-level was in the basement. "My testosterone level was I think 203. It was that of an 11 year old." Dr. Daller suggested a new treatment: implantable testosterone pellets. Called Testopel, several pellets are placed under the skin of the buttocks. "They're slow release testosterone. Over three to six months we have great improvement in the testosterone," says Dr. Daller. That was two years ago. "My sugar's under control now. My blood pressure's under control, my cholesterol level, its day and night, I mean I'm so thankful for it," says Wemer. Raymond feels like he turned back the hands of time. What are the Symptoms of Male Menopause (Andropause)?

02:01
http://mens-health.sg/hypogonadism-testosterone-deficiency/ Men Do Suffer From Menopause. They are called Andropause! Andropause is the biological changes a man goes through when the level of hormones in his body decreases due to age. This is very similar to Menopause in women. As a man ages, the level of Testosterone in his body may start to fall. This can lead to symptoms such as feeling very tired, loss of muscle mass, loss of concentration, weight gain especially around the waist and even a depressed mood with sleep disturbances. If the Testosterone level falls too low for too long, it may even lead to more serious problems like brittle bones, chronic diseases and may even increase the risk of certain types of prostate cancer. If you are suffering from these symptoms, see your doctor. You may require a blood test to find out what your Testosterone level is. A good natural way to increase your Male Sex Hormones level is to lose weight if you are overweight or obese. If not, you may need some form of Testosterone Replacement Treatment. This can be done with Capsules, Gels or Injections. Although some patients may need long term Testosterone Replacement, some patients may only need it for a short time to help them lose weight and get back to a naturally healthy level of Testosterone. If you feel that you may be suffering from Andropause come speak to us to find out more about testing and treatment options.

Andropause:Treating Male Hormone Imbalance Male Menopause Naturally/Natural Cures

03:41
Andropause Treating Male Hormone Imbalance Male Menopause Naturally/Natural Cures ------------------ The symptoms of female menopause are well known, well-documented, and properly treated by doctors. Warning Signs of Male Menopause Are You at Risk

06:45
Cautioning Signs of Male Menopause Are You at Risk. The male (menopause) persona. Need to encounter genuine data over-burden? Google "male menopause." Within seconds, you'll be looked with reams of counsel, from acupuncturists to news outlets. As you burrow further, you may discover that male menopause is very questionable. Pundits contend about each part of the condition, from what it is, to what to call it, to whether it exists by any stretch of the imagination. So what is male menopause? What's more, on the off chance that it does exist, how might you tell in the event that you have it? What is male menopause?. A few people utilize the expression "male menopause" to allude to hormonal changes that a few men encounter as they get more established. As men age, their testosterone levels tend to diminish. As indicated by the Mayo Clinic, most men's testosterone levels crest in their 20s. After age 30 or 40, those levels tend to decrease by around 1 percent for every year. By age 70, your testosterone level may achieve 50 percent of your pinnacle level. This hormonal move can cause physical, enthusiastic, and intellectual changes. Male versus female menopause. So why would that be a discussion? In truth, male menopause contrasts significantly from female menopause. While female menopause is a characteristic piece of maturing, some more established men never grow low testosterone. Female menopause likewise sets in rapidly, while "low T" can create over decades. As indicated by the Urology Care Foundation, testosterone levels underneath 300 ng/dL are commonly viewed as low. Dr. Ciril Godec, boss urologist at Downstate Long Island College Hospital, noticed that he's "seen somebody in his 80s with [a level of] 600 ng/dL, and … somebody in his 30s with [a level of] 150 ng/dL." Because of these distinctions, numerous specialists lean toward the terms andropause, androgen inadequacy of the maturing male, or late-beginning hypogonadism. Would it be a good idea for you to stress?. By any name, low T can be troublesome. As indicated by analysts in the International Journal of Clinical Practice, it can cause an assortment of side effects and entanglements. For instance, it's been connected to lessened sex drive, erectile brokenness, loss of bulk, expanded fat aggregation, low bone mass, weariness, and misery. Low charisma. Testosterone assumes a fundamental part in keeping up your sex drive and capacity. On the off chance that your drive is lower than common, it may be an indication of low T caused by andropause or another condition. Low T can likewise prompt erectile brokenness. This happens when you experience difficulty getting or keeping up an erection. It can likewise cause your sperm tally to decay. Dejection. Testosterone directs your mind-set. On the off chance that your testosterone level drops, you may wind up discouraged. Regular manifestations of wretchedness incorporate tenacious sentiments of trouble, void, tension, fractiousness, or outrage. You battle to focus, lose enthusiasm for things you once appreciated, or create self-destructive musings. At times, wretchedness might be the principal side effect of low T that you take note. Truth be told, Dr. Godec takes note of that "numerous men … in andropause go to specialists" before they think to get their testosterone checked. Low vitality. Testosterone enables your body to keep up solid vitality levels. In case you're encountering andropause, you may feel exhausted. You may battle to muster the nerve to partake in your ordinary exercises. Sleep deprivation. Low T can likewise add to rest issues. Testosterone assumes a vital part in managing your rest designs. In the event that your testosterone level decreases, you may encounter a sleeping disorder and bothered rest. Side effects of a sleeping disorder incorporate trouble nodding off and staying unconscious. It can likewise cause daytime sluggishness, inconvenience centering, and fractiousness. Bone thickness. Testosterone enables your body to keep up your bone thickness. On the off chance that you create andropause, your bones may turn out to be less thick. This can prompt osteoporosis, a condition in which your bones end up weak and delicate. All Photos Licensed Under CC Source : www.pexels.com www.pixabay.com www.commons.wikimedia.org

View the full session here - http://www.4ad.com/sessions/003 Ahead of their debut release for 4AD (worldwide from June 8), Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti appeared in session with a number of tracks from the forthcoming Before Today alongside recordings of the likes of 'Flashback' and 'Spires in the Snow' (incarnations of the latter dating back as far as 1999). Recorded at Studio Plateaux on the Thameside island Platts Eyot, the session showcases the band's rich pop palette; a beguiling mix of glam rock, West Coast funk and Merseybeat harmonies with a newfound high-production sheen - a contrast to the corroded bedroom recordings that have fomented a fervent cult following over the past decade. The outfit, now consist of reclusive pop surrealist Ariel Pink (vocals) alongside Tim Koh (bass/vocals), Kenny Gilmore (guitar/vocals) and Aaron Sperske (drums/vocals) - with Cole MGN (guitar) guesting in session. 'Menopause Man' also features on the album Before Today, out now. Andropause: "Male Menopause" Explained by Hormone Expert, Ken G. Knott, MD

02:27
Visit http://KenGKnottMD.com for more life-changing discussions and resources. For media interviews, appearances and inquiries, please email [email protected] About Andropause: We all know that women undergo hormonal changes that results in the process known as menopause. Men also undergo hormonal changes as they age resulting in the gradual appearance of a number of symptoms signaling a decline in function and that process is known as “andropause.” Not only do men experience various symptoms of andropause, but the condition has health risks associated with it as well. The term andropause is derived from the Greek words andro (male) and pausis (stop). It wasn’t a term that was accepted in medicine until the 1940s and many doctors of today continue to be non-accepting regardless of the wealth of scientific evidence that proves its existence. The main hormone, that determines when a male reaches andropause, is testosterone and that, in turn, depends on what is being produced by his body. It is natural and genetically determined for a man to gradually produce less and less of all hormones, including testosterone. The symptoms of andropause appear less suddenly in men than in women undergoing menopause. Men gradually produce less testosterone and other hormones year by year and it surprises most to learn that this gradual decline begins in the mid twenties. In most men, the andropausal process is so gradual that many don’t recognize the symptoms and just begin to feel that they are getting “old.” The situation is made worse because their doctor may be telling them the same thing, “you’re just getting old.” Of course, they are getting older, that’s an inescapable fact, but the news is:something can be done about it. Regardless of the genetic cards one is dealt, more and more men are realizing that something can be done to offset the negative effects of andropause, but the process of education for the public and the medical profession has been rather slow and inefficient. One of the main factors resulting in such an obsolete approach to this problem has been that most doctors are not aware of the facts about the aging process and the importance of maintaining proper hormonal balance. There are a number of symptoms consistent with andropause, but most men focus on their declining libido (sex drive). There are a number of other signs, but this is the one that concerns most men as it strikes at their masculinity and is perceived in a very personal manner. Of course that is understandable, but there are other important factors associated with andropause that most men and many doctors don’t recognize. For example, many of my female patients speak to me about their spouses or boyfriends and whether or not they should be evaluated because of low energy, depression, loss of sex drive, lack of stamina, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, loss of strength and moodiness. All the above are symptoms of andropause, but the most important factor is the one that is never mentioned and unknown to most doctors. Testosterone has a cardiovascular protective effect! In other words, higher levels of testosterone have a protective effect on the heart and brain as the result of preventing atherosclerotic vascular disease (hardening of the arteries). Testosterone is also important in maintaining healthy bones. Proper levels (optimal) help maintain proper mineralization and add to the strength of bones. When bones are stronger, they are much less likely to fracture with minimal trauma. When most men become aware of the cardiovascular and skeletal protective effect of testosterone, they strive to never let their blood levels fall to previously accepted “normal” levels. That brings up the point of what doctors consider normal. As an example, if we were to study 1,000 men, age 60, their levels would prove to be much lower than a sample of 1,000 men at 25 years of age. When a doctor tells a male patient, over the age of 45, that his levels are normal, what he/she is really saying is that compared to everyone else in that age group, their levels are about the same. Apparently it never occurs to most doctors that if everyone in a particular age group is low, then a low level will be considered “normal” as well. Normal does not mean that it’s healthy, it’s just a mathematical number computed from averages in a particular age group. This illustrates something very important and something lost in doctors’ training programs. Normal values do not necessarily mean “optimal.” Read More Here: http://kengknottmd.com/andropause-explained/

Male Menopause

http://www.ManUpTestosterone.com The Mayo Clinic reports that the decline in testosterone production as men age contributes to the decline in libido, as well as the development of infertility. Maintaining higher levels of testosterone can help men to keep the libido active and retain the ability to perform sexually, there by reducing the likelihood of infertility with aging. Having an active sex life also helps to boost testosterone, making one somewhat interrelated with the other. Are you one of the Millions of Men that feel like they have lost their edge? Bryan, PA The primary male sex hormone or androgen, testosterone plays a critical role in male health and development. Most people think of menopause as a mid-life change women go through, complete with hot flashes and mood swings. But men can also go through some of those changes. Early Show "Healthwatch" contributor Dr. Holly Phillips has surprising information about male menopause. Is there really a male menopause? This isn't something we've heard that much about. Yes, men do have drops in hormone levels like women. For men it's testosterone, for women it's estrogen. The big difference is, for women menopause signals a time when they stop ovulating, when they can no longer have babies. Men through their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, it's a different situation. Men can feel symptoms - lethargy for one. What's most important is if you are having symptoms, if have fatigue, you don't feel like yourself, the most important thing is to get to the doctor because it may not be male menopause causing these symptoms. Symptoms: •Fatigue •Depression •Decreased Libido •Anemia •Loss of Bone Density Development A significant increase in the production of testosterone in males triggers the onset of puberty, when the body begins to develop toward physical and sexual maturity Testosterone allows the body to increase bone density and overall muscle mass during this period it also causes the maturation of the sexual organs. Libido and Heart Health The Mayo Clinic reports that the decline in testosterone production as men age contributes to the decline in libido, as well as the development of infertility. Maintaining higher levels of testosterone can help men to keep the libido active and retain the ability to perform sexually, there by reducing the likelihood of infertility with aging. Having an active sex life also helps to boost testosterone, making one somewhat interrelated with the other. However while not a direct effect of testosterone, an active sex life that can occur as an indirect effect of higher testosterone levels does help to prevent strokes and heart attacks, according to a March 9, 2008 article at ABCNEWS.com. Energy Testosterone also contributes to a mans overall energy levels. An Aug.10 2009, article appearing on ABC-News.com reports that up to 25 percent of men suffering with lower testosterone levels experience lethargy or feeling of tiredness. Normal levels of testosterone help to keep men feeling energetic and active. A related benefit of testosterone is that it plays a role in maintaining a regular sleep pattern, which can also improve overall energy levels. Weight Control Testosterone assists the body in controlling fat levels. When testosterone levels fall, according to the Mayo Clinic, body fat levels tend to rise, while muscle mass and strength lessen. Testosterone alone cannot control body fat levels, through. High fat diets and high alcohol consumption can cause weight gain, which reduces testosterone levels. Emotional Well-Being Higher levels of testosterone lead to greater feelings of confidence and drive. According to an April 2010 article in Mens Health. Testosterone increases drive and ambition, in part by stimulating the amygdala, which helps to control feelings of aggression. While too much aggression can have counter productive effects, too little testosterone driven aggression can leave a man feeling listless http://www.CardioForLife.com

Male Menopause Signs and Symptoms

Male Menopause Signs and Symptoms https://xinnora.outgrow.us/Male-Virility Male menopause” is the more common term for andropause. It describes age-related changes in male hormone levels. The same group of symptoms is also known as testosterone deficiency, androgen deficiency, and late-onset hypogonadism. Male menopause involves a drop in testosterone production in men who are age 50 or older. It’s often affiliated with hypogonadism. Both conditions involve lowered testosterone levels and similar symptoms. If you’re a man, testosterone is a hormone produced in your testes. It does more than fuel your sex drive. It also fuels changes during puberty, fuels your mental and physical energy, maintains your muscle mass, regulates your fight-or-flight response, and regulates other key evolutionary features. Male menopause differs from female menopause in several ways. For one thing, not all men experience it. For another, it doesn’t involve a complete shutdown of your reproductive organs. However, sexual complications may arise as a result of your lowered hormone levels. lw.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcNypWkkBKA
