11% of the births worldwide come from a teen mother. 31 000 children have a baby every year in Canada. Nearly 820, 000 teens are pregnant each year in USA. More than 16 million teen girls become pregnant each year in the world.
MISHKA tells the story of a conflicted 13-year-old and her grim secrets. In the face of an unsettling reality, Mishka makes an alarming decision in a desperate attempt to revert her childhood self.
Using again similar themes from my first short film “The Silence”, MISHKA portrays with disarming honesty the reality of millions of girls in this world.
Starring Matia Jackett, Ray Galletti, Devyn Nekoda, Kiki Hammill, Nicolas Ballarini, Alexandra Bacci & Katie Uhlmann. Directed and written by Cleo Tellier.

Ok. There are many clues that signal she was raped by her father. The two most obvious ones is the fact she doesn’t like to talk to him and that she avoids him and at the end when she said she killed their baby. Next people in the comments are saying “why would she willingly get in bed with her rapist,” maybe because she has to. Usually when someone is raped by someone much older you comply because you don’t want to get hurt. And when you’re little it’s hard to hate someone you are taught to love. When I was 4-7 my bio father raped me. Repeatedly, over and over again. But what really bugs me in the comments, are that people are saying “why doesn’t she say something,” or “why doesn’t she run away.” Maybe because she’s scared. Not everyone has the courage to tell. Heck I didn’t until I was 12. But the worst part is. I didn’t tell soon enough. He is not in jail and he never will be.
Wait what if she was ok with her father doing that to her that’s probably why she didn’t say anything to anyone about it she probably killed her baby bc she didn’t want anyone finding about her and her fathers relationship
The sad thing is thats how my friend was born, Her mom became pregnat at the age of 15 and gave birth to her after her 16th birthday. Her mom is 28 and she is 12...
Thanks for reading my comment! leave a like for my friend
Hi, I'm confused and offended by this video, it seems like it's anti-abortion, because nothing is showing that what the guy did was wrong. The only thing it said is that the teen was pregnant and had a DIY abortion. The only message I'm getting from this is that she is in the wrong for "killing the baby" which is SO WRONG on so many levels!
I get how there is funding for people who got raped, and the money goes towards supporting the baby. But I think it’s stupid how there is funding for people with teen pregnancy because it’s their fault they got pregnant, so they don’t need funding for their hella stupid decisions.
Be brutally honest maybe it's because I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (not father) I had a feeling from the off that the baby was the dad's.
Doubted myself for a moment when the boy came into it but the lingering camera shots of the dad and the lack of conversation in them certainly gave an eerie feeling to the scenes. So much unspoken communication there; a very well done to both actors for setting the tone so well. The huge give away though people is how she looked at the photo of her and her father in the first scene...little spoiler alert straight off there xxx
"Our baby"???? He's her father. The title of the video makes it look like it's about teen pregnancy. A teenager is not supposed to have her dad's baby. NO ONE'S SUPPOSED TO HAVE THEIR DAD'S BABY FOR A MATTER OF FACT. I'm laughing my ass off out of confusion. Offsetting as fuck
