I may build something similar to this, but go either esper to play Extirpate, Ashiok and lingering souls, or play red instead of blue for Sarkhan the Dragonspeaker and things like lighting helix.

0:57 uh how did he play a 2 casting cost creature with 1 land?
Harley Gallagher (1 year ago)
Would this deck work with raven guildmaster like it does aetherling or possibly run both?
servantman s (1 year ago)
Bridge moon burn? It would be a lot cooler sounding if it was called burning bridge.
Yang Boy (1 year ago)
so many enchantments. ever thought about playing a 1-of of Starfield to Nyx?
Luliby (1 year ago)
Aetherling being able to go under the ensnaring bridge is amazing, as is locking the opponent out with his/her own Eidolon with Gideon's Intervention.
David Eastwell (1 year ago)
I can't imagine how frustrated your opponent was in the first game. Such an obnoxious deck, I love it.
evan moses (1 year ago)
You should have dispelled the Path on their own eidolon
Erik Kennedy (1 year ago)
If you dont knock it off with this white bordered land bullshit im gunna unsub. Hahaha super sweet deck and dope video as always!

I'm probably missing something but how does the opponent cast Eidolon for 1 mana?
MTGGoldfish (1 year ago)
Opponent exile a Simian Sprite Guide.
Gamer101Reborn simian spirit guide i think
Akumi Kraushear (1 year ago)
I'm interesed in that bridge Moon Burn, does anyone have it?
Andrew Wilkie (1 year ago)
Ugggghhh!! Seth! Y U tilt with white border islands!?

That match was truly ridiculous.

Please put a Karma and Urborg in the Board for shenanigans.

The OP's archetype is called Burning Bridges!
LegoLevel (1 year ago)
This is the meanest deck ever. "I get to play magic and you don't"
Twan Bosma (1 year ago)
Aaah yess telepathy, I've had so much fun with that card in commander it's actually insane!
Twan Bosma (1 year ago)
True, but my favorite way of using it is in a politics commander deck
Twan Bosma thats a good card in commander when ur trying to combo off or being the control player knowing when to combo out or counter things is very good in a multiplayer format
Thomas Hugen (1 year ago)
Why didn't you take out sphere of safety?
Aronia55 (1 year ago)
Path and Blood Moon is such anti synergy
Malloot (1 year ago)
omg seth you did it again, very cool deck!
buck14red Hi (1 year ago)
Dispel their path on their own eidolon :) maximum troll. I would have lost it hahaha
Charles Nault (1 year ago)
I wish you would play a ame or 2 of the non budget version because it would really help me when i consider building it for paper, could be its own subseries where you do it once and a while (also can i recommend you try to make seismic loam with the new cycling lands )
Charles Nault (1 year ago)
Kool I'll pay a little more attention to when your streaming
MTGGoldfish (1 year ago)
We do play the non-budget builds on stream occasionally, but they haven't found their way to a video series yet. Maybe it will happen in the future!
Justin Postlewaite (1 year ago)
I've thought the same thing, but Seth puts out a lot of content and he can't do everything that would be cool. I do wish he'd make a wrap-up video discussing the possible upgrades (or at least mention the article on MTGGoldfish.com in the video - which he has said he may do).
Max P (1 year ago)
Damn Seth, 132 likes and 0 dislikes? Good work dude!
Ian McAbee (1 year ago)
Those were his opponents
Ian McAbee (1 year ago)
Maxmaster P. 4 dislikes
Bryan Tan (1 year ago)
I'm 90% sure that you were playing your own Free Win Red deck, but with white splashed in for the sweet utility. The Chandra was a big giveaway for me.
Bryan Tan (1 year ago)
Benjamin Swalwell You have to cut something for white. Koth is less than ideal with Plains because they gimp his ultimate. The rituals are the first thing I would cut when the white goes in.
Amber Swalwell (1 year ago)
Bryan Tan it didn't have koth or any rituals
Iwakura Lain (1 year ago)
Your opponent must really not like deaths shadow
Peter Shipman (1 year ago)
never thought I'd see a modern match with telepathy and aetherling XD I love it!
Rafael Santos (1 year ago)
Ætherling passing underneath the bridge was hilarious!
Mitch B. (1 year ago)
that's a scene i want to see in the magic movie
Michael Stokes (1 year ago)
As much as I love Seth, I feel like he came off as a pretty sore winner in this match.
GreySv1 (1 year ago)
I have no fucking clue what you're talking about. He's just enjoying himself, lmao.
Justin Postlewaite (1 year ago)
It's not like his opponent can hear him. He's having fun - I always enjoy hearing how happy Seth gets when his decks work.
Jonas Engle (1 year ago)
I play a similar deck but in black blue with lost legacy effects, extirpate effects, and hand attack. it wins with mill. everyone hates it. :)
The Id (1 year ago)
Jonas Engle I have an Extirpate/Lost legacy 8 rack deck, it's Insane lol.
blahblah14 (1 year ago)
is there a particular reason you didn't attack with the timely reinforcements tokens for several turns?
Aurelio Ramos (1 year ago)
To be fair, it slipped my mind too and I read that card twice
Timmir00 (1 year ago)
I think he just didn't think about it at the time. He was to focused on the idea that Eidelon was now only hurting his opponent that the fact that his creatures wouldn't be harmed either just completely skipped him mind.
Scott Neusen (1 year ago)
Gideon's Intervention prevents damage to permanents you control so you could have been attacking with those soldier tokens.
Jordan Phillips (1 year ago)
you could have attacked with soldiers through eidelon from gideons intervention in game 2.
Srcsqwrn (1 year ago)
I wasn't even aware of this. Amazing.
Walloficecream (1 year ago)
Telepahy is the best card in Urza's Saga. Okay, not really ^_^
Walloficecream i love the card in edh combo decks or with control u know when to combo off or when to counter certain things .
Emma the Starch (1 year ago)
